Katy Perry links up with Tha Doggfather Snoop D-O double G on her new record "California Gurls". Produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin the song is a somewhat generic club song, but the 80's New Wave sound makes it somewhat appealing to me. Perry states she was trying to make an Empire State of Mind style song for California "fail" this song is no where near as Epic. The video above I find hilarious from the Snoop shrine to them having some mary jane waiting for him made this even more cool.

Forget Drizzy forget Cudi its all about Dymez "The Freshman". Dyme-A-Duzin a new artist from Brooklyn I'm working with, just released his highly anticipated Mixtape "The Orientation". Full of metaphors, satire, and comic relief Dymez Mixtape is one of the best since Drake's So Far Gone and Lil Wayne's Dedication 2. Dymez is the next big thing don't sleep on the kid he's got a movement backed by his highly viewed youtube page and expanding fan group he's going nowhere but up.
